SOUTH CAROLINA – The Klu Klux Klan have joined a growing number of hate groups to distance themselves from Anders Behring Breivik after fears he would give honest racists a bad name.
The far right, white supremacy group issued a sternly worded statement criticising the actions of Breivik and insisting his ideals were not the kind of racism they were comfortable being linked with.
Leader of the South Carolina faction Norman McDonald said: “The Klan is simply asking that the world thinks before putting us all in the same box. We’re just your garden variety racists over here and we in no way endorse what he did. ”
‘Ruining racism for the rest of us’
The rejection from the KKK follows reports of other racist groups pro-actively moving to distinguish their racism from the actions of a lone mad man. UK hate group the English Defense League declared Mr Breivik’s actions as “the kind of thing that makes hard working hate-filed racists look bad.”
“Look, I hate foreigners just a much as the next xenophobe,” group leader Stephen Lennon clarified, “but this is way beyond our mandate to make members of ethnic communities feel wholly unwanted through peaceful methods like spite filled insults or intimidating marches.”
After the anti-Islamist inspired rampage, Norman McDonald urged minorities not to paint all right-wing extremist groups with is the same brush, “especially if you plan on using anything other than white paint.”
Sentiment among clan members suggests that any attempts to link them to one man in Norway are “a transparent and obvious plot by the Jew media to drag our good name through the mud and demean this organisation of upstanding clansmen.”
McDonald also lamented the ‘monumental’ effort it would take to overturn public perception and clean the name of racism that “has been tarnished by the actions of a single idiot.”
Bad apple
“Now when I tell people I’m an ultraconservative racist I’m bound to get funny looks because of this guy. There’s always one that goes off the rails and spoils it for the everyday, well-adjusted racist majority.”
“Our mission is about protecting the interests of the Christian white brethren and ensure the long-term subjugation of mongrel races…we’re better than this guy.”
McDonald went on to label Breivik a horrible man, condemning his actions as “the most disgusting thing I have ever witnessed since my daughter brought home a negro that one time.”
I have to say that for the past couple of hours i have been hooked by the impressive articles on this blog. Keep up the wonderful work.
